Learn to count your many blessings,

Though this may be hard to do,

Because the numbers are so many,

To bring them all into your view.

Dwell not on mistakes of the past,

With thoughts that only subtract

Taking away your peace and joy,

When to negative thoughts you re-act.

Think on the many pluses in life,

That God has been sending your way,

So thank Him with a grateful heart

Give additional praise each day.

The Bible says to give God thanks,

In Ephesians five, verse twenty,

So do your maths, continue to count,

His blessings that are so plenty.

Blessing Song

Count your blessings, name them one by one

Count your blessings, see what God has done

Count your blessings, name them one by one

And you'll be surprised what he Lord has done!

When we desire blessings from our Heavenly Father, it is good to thank Him

for the blessings He has given us, even if it is for the simple blessings of

sunshine each day and a comfy bed at night.......the last mealtime we enjoyed

and friendly greeting or kind words that were said to us etc

See if you can make a list of these and specific blessings you have had from The Lord.

He delights in thankful receivers and is more inclined to answer our prayers

if we do not show an ungrateful spirit.

Gratefulness is shown by taking the time and care to thank Him.

That's why the apostle Paul said when we pray to "make our requests with

thanksgiving." In other words, in a spirit of thanksgiving.

What earthly parent is inclined to give things to a child who does not thank them?

Yes it's true, we absolutely do not, do we?

Did you thank Him last time?

How often do you thank Him?

How often do you pray?

Giving thanks should be a way of life!

"Before God gives us the greater things in life that He has for us, according to His will, we need to learn to thank Him for the small things first." Darrel Creswell

This is so true. And according to a prophetic word I was given in the 90s "Answers to prayers

(we) are seeking, will come__ according to (our) change and according to the amount

of time we (can) spend with Him."

Do You Truly Believe?

Learn to count blessings if you want more

Praise and Thanks, we make them a chore.

If you want to be blessed

you must Pray and Rest.

Pray with good thoughts, Rest in His Love

seek Revelation that comes from above.

If you do you'd be truly wise

for often we believe in lies

that He is not able

or His Words are just fables.

Do we really believe them

not just now and then?

Feelings are fickle

let your Faith be nimble.
